ScribeGrab is free. No account, no watermark, 10 recordings a day, and the free version is not a trial: it does not expire. If you need more than the free limits, there is one optional pass, in two sizes: €5 for 30 days or €3 for 24 hours. That is the whole price list.

The pass: €5 for 30 days, €3 for 24 hours
One-off payment. No subscription, nothing renews, nothing is charged again. It adds:

Three things worth knowing before you buy:
- The clock starts at your first file, not at payment. Buy it tonight and start next week; the clock only begins when you actually process something. An unused pass stays claimable for 90 days.
- One pass works on all our tools. The same pass also raises the limits on StemGrab, CleanGrab and the other ShinobiTools sites. See shinobitools.com.
- It does not change the transcript itself. Free and paid run the same transcription on the same hardware; the pass adds what you do with the transcript afterwards, not a better transcript. Read the free transcript first: that is the point of it being free.
Payment
Payment is processed by Stripe. The seller is ShinobiTools: we account for the VAT, and you get a confirmation by e-mail after payment. We never see or store your card details. Prices include any VAT that applies to your country.
A pass is stored in the browser you bought it in: there are no accounts here, so it will not show up on another device or in a private window.

Common questions
Is it really free?
Yes. No account, no watermark, 10 recordings a day, and it isn't a trial: it doesn't expire and it runs the same transcription as the paid pass. There's one optional extra: a EUR 5 pass (or EUR 3 for 24 hours) that adds meeting notes, real speaker names, Word export and higher limits. It gives you more to do with the transcript, not a better transcript.
Do I need an account?
No. There are no accounts on ScribeGrab, free or paid. A pass is stored in the browser you bought it in and there is no login; we keep the e-mail address you enter at checkout to send your pass link and so you can recover the pass on another device.
Do I get speaker labels?
Yes, automatically, for free: when a recording has more than one voice, the transcript is already split into 'Speaker 1', 'Speaker 2' and so on. A pass lets you rename those labels to real names, and that name then carries through the transcript, the subtitles, the translations and the meeting notes.
What happens to my recording?
It's processed on computers we run ourselves and deleted the moment it's done. The results (transcript, subtitles, notes) are wiped after 45 minutes on the free tier, or 24 hours with a pass. Nothing is shared or used for training.

Can I get a PDF instead of a Word file?
Not directly: exports are .txt.srt and .vtt for free, plus a Word (.docx) file with a pass. Open that .docx in Word, Google Docs or LibreOffice and use "Save as / Export as PDF": one click, formatting stays intact.
